Archie the Daredevil Penguin

by Andy Rash

Storyline: Archie is a penguin known by his brave approach to challenges. He has won many competition and impresses his friends many times. His nickname is the Daredevil. But he has one secret: he cannot swim because he is afraid of the briny deep and the creatures that lurk there.

So when his friends invited him for a fish fry party at Iceberg Nine (get it? Deep Space Nine – Star Trek…) he tries to fly there. First he uses a sling, then he builds big wings, lastly he tries a rocket. But he ends up in the ocean where he is swallowed by a whale. Being a smart penguin he escapes from the whale’s mouths into the briny deep where he finally meats the “creatures” that teach him how to swim. And so, he makes it to Iceberg Nine for a fish fry.
